We are a community of believers that are dedicated to reaching the lost and broken.
Welcome to DCC! Come and worship with us where each service is special and unique. We invite you to attend and experience the friendly people, great music, and dynamic preaching at every service.
The Driftwood Christian Church was incorporated in 1963 in rural Driftwood, Oklahoma and is now in its 57th year.
It has been located at the same address since the first structure was dedicated. The building that now houses the sanctuary was built in 1975 and the Fellowship Hall addition was completed in 1988.
The church's ministry has been facilitated over the years by many dedicated individuals, too numerous to list.
We have a very specific set of values that we hold true to our hearts. We feel that the Lord has set before us a vision of what He wants this church to be about, and we follow that vision as close as possible.
The purpose of Driftwood Christian Church is based on New Testament doctrine to win people to faith in Jesus Christ and commit them actively to the church, to help them to grow in the grace and knowledge of Christ that increasingly they may know and do his will, and to work for the unity of all Christians and with them engage in the common task of building the kingdom of God.
We believe that together in fellowship we grow closer to God and one another. The bible speaks about iron sharpening iron.
We believe in the Church of Jesus Christ, founded on the Day of Pentecost and consisting of all Christians everywhere. (Matthew 16:13-18; Acts 2:14-47)
"I've been part of this great church since its beginning in 1963. Love how we've stayed current and relevant in teaching, youth programs, music, outreach, and fellowship but stayed true to Bible standards of faith and fellowship."
Deanna Wright
"I have called DCC my church home nearly my entire life. Starting my week off looking into God's word during Sunday School and hearing an influential sermon keeps my life centered around Christ"
Steve Clark
"DCC lets me be a servant. I can be a teacher at Kid's Point, sing with the worship team on Sunday, and pray for my church family daily. Jesus, Faith, Worship, and Love define what DCC means to me."
Marci Hyde
"Driftwood Christian Church has always been the Consistent Biblical Foundation we needed as we started our lives together, being married in the church at Driftwood. From teaching to worship, cooking to parking cars, DCC continues to provide ways to serve God for any level of believer. DCC’s family values go above and beyond, especially in your time of need."
Brad and Robbie Rieger
After Brock and I married in 2006, we moved back to his hometown of Burlington. His family's membership at Driftwood Christian Church dates back to the beginning of the church. I quickly became involved in Ladies Bible Studies, serving, and worshipping every Sunday at DCC. Through the relationships and growth in my faith at DCC, I made the decision to be baptized. Fourteen years later, my church family loves me, challenges me, and supports me through all of life's challenges and victories. My growth in following Christ can be attributed greatly to the love and support I've found at DCC.

We believe in the Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit
We believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross so that we may have everlasting life through him.
We believe in the Bible is the Holy Word of God. It is divinely inspired and the supreme and final authority for faith and life. (II Timothy 3:16, 17: 2 Corinthians 4:2)
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (II Corinthians 13:14)
We believe in God the Father Almighty, Creator of all things visible and invisible. (Genesis 1:1; Acts 17:24-28; Hebrews 11:3)
We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s one and only Son, our one and only Savior. (John 1:14; 1 John 4:9; John 3:16; 2 Peter 3:18)
We believe man was created in the image of God: That he sinned and thereby incurred not only the physical death, but also spiritual death which is separation from God; and that all human beings are born with a sinful nature, and in the case of those who reach moral responsibility, become sinners in thought, word and deed. Man willfully with free will sinned against God and is consequently lost and without hope apart from Jesus Christ. (Acts 4:12; Romans 3:23; Romans 5:12)
We believe that salvation only comes through Jesus Christ. (John 14:6; Acts 4:12)
We believe the Bible teaches that salvation—the forgiveness of sins—is only by grace through the blood of Jesus Christ. (Matthew 26:28; Romans 5:9; Ephesians 2:8-9; 1 Peter 1:18-19; 1 John 1:7)
We believe the Bible teaches that one receives God’s grace by putting faith in Christ, repenting of sin, confessing Christ and being baptized by immersion into Christ. (Romans 5:1-2; Luke 24:45-47; Acts 3:19; 17:30; 2 Peter 3:9; Matthew 10:32; Romans 10:9; Philippians 2:11; 1 John 4:15;
Acts 2:38, Romans 6:1-7; Galatians 3:27; Colossians 2:12; 1 Peter 3:21)
We believe that all who receive by faith the Lord Jesus Christ are born of the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God, a relationship from which no one may be removed. (Acts 16:31; Romans 8:38-39; Hebrews 13:5)
We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord, in His ascension into heaven, and His present life for us as High Priest and Advocate. (I Corinthians 15:4; Acts 1:9-11; I John 2:1-2; Hebrews 4:14-15)
We believe in the “second coming”; the personal return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. (I Thessalonians 4:13-18; Matthew 24:29-31)
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust: the everlasting blessedness of the saved and the everlasting conscious punishment of the lost. (I Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 20:11-15)
We believe in the Church of Jesus Christ, founded on the Day of Pentecost and consisting of all Christians everywhere. (Matthew 16:13-18; Acts 2:14-47)
We believe the Bible teaches that the Elders are to exercise authority over the local congregation. (Acts 20:28; Philippians 1:1; 1 Timothy 3:1-7; Titus 1:5-9; 1 Peter 5:1-4)
Wondering what's going on at Driftwood Christian Church? Well have no fear! We are here to fill you in on everything that is happening within the walls and outside the walls! We hope that you will join us in everything new that is happening around the church.
Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
While Driftwood Christian Church is actively seeking a pastor for our congregation, we feature visiting pastors to bring the message each month.
