KINGDOM:

Lead children to become a part of the kingdom of God by providing age-appropriate experiences.

Matthew 19:14 – But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me. 

 

Don’t stop them!  For the kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children.”

INSTRUCTION:

Show children how to apply God’s word in their life as they grow as members of the kingdom of God.

 

Ephesians 6:4 – Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger by the way you treat them.  Rather, bring them up with the discipline and instruction that comes from the Lord.

DISCIPLESHIP:

Lead children to become a part of the kingdom of God by providing age-appropriate experiences.

SERVICE:

Provide children opportunities to serve inside and outside of the church in the kingdom of God.

 

Ephesians 4:12 – Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do His work and build up the church, the body of Christ.

VISION

The children's ministry vision will be accomplished through Sunday School, children's church, K. I. D. S. Point, outreach events, and by using the core values as a foundation in accomplshing this vision.  The outreach events will include VBS, Fall Festivals/Trunk or Treat, Easter and Christmas programs/events, Prairie View Christian Camp, CIY: SuperStart(4th-6th grade), and various other events.
