Set on more than 1,000 acres at the foothills of the Ozark Mountains in rural Northeastern Oklahoma, Cookson Hills provides a rustic and relaxing retreat for children requiring out-of-home care. Children receive the benefits of family style living, spiritual teaching, therapeutic services, and Christian education.

Stamp Out Starvation is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide nutritious meals to people all around the world, and even right here in Oklahoma.

We are able to accomplish this by organizing community and youth volunteer packaging events of Stamp Out Starvation's highly nutritious meals.
Each Stamp Out Starvation food package contains six servings and each bag is prepared in less than 20 minutes by adding the food package to boiling water.

Each Stamp Out Starvation food package is based off of a rice and soy casserole that is fortified with 21 essential vitamins and minerals, six dehydrated vegetables, and chicken flavoring. This soy (52% protein) and nutrient-rich formula reverses the starvation process.

Back in the 80s, a relief effort was started to collect food and supplies and deliver them to some impoverished areas in Juarez, Mexico. What came to be known as Operation:CARE has continued over several decades working through Spanish American Evangelism Ministries in El Paso, Texas, with volunteers from several states.
Contributions of clothing, household items, and cash are collected and either distributed in Juarez or put in storage at SAEM each year. This is a tremendous opportunity made available as an affordable short-term mission trip that leaves the first Sunday in November and returns after a week-long stay south of the border. Our small group travels together throughout the city visiting orphanages, churches, rest homes, etc. with guides and interpreters, while staying in Mexico for three nights. Anyone is invited to join the group each year.

Since 1993, Samaritan’s Purse has collected more than 168 million shoeboxes packed with toys and other fun items by people like you, and delivered them to boys and girls in need around the world in partnership with local churches.

Many boys and girls who receive shoebox gifts also enroll in The Greatest Journey, our 12-lesson follow-up discipleship program, where they learn to follow Christ and share Him with others. Millions of boys and girls have participated in this dynamic course so far.

The primary mission of Eden Ministries in Doma, Zimbabwe is realized in Eden Children’s Village. All other ministries at Eden Children’s Village-Doma revolve around caring for the children in holistic fashion. Holism and the determined effort to minister in that way gives rise to the many facets of the current ministry model at Eden.
